Oeuf à la Coque

A classic French soft-boiled egg breakfast, inspired by Café de Flore in Paris. Served with buttered toast strips for dipping.

    Gently place the eggs into the simmering water and boil for about 4-5 minutes for soft-boiled.

    Place each boiled egg into an egg cup and carefully remove the top shell with a knife.

    Insert a stick of butter into the exposed yolk of each egg.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Serve immediately with toast strips for dipping.
