Fig & feta starter with prosciutto
A quick, elegant starter of ripe figs flattened and topped with feta, basil, balsamic glaze, olive oil, and a slice of prosciutto.
What goes in
- 4 ripe figs, peeled and halved
- 100 g feta cheese, cut into thin slices
- 10 g fresh basil leaves
- 1 tsp basil oil
- 2 tsp balsamic glaze
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 thin slices prosciutto
How to do it
- 01
Peel the figs and halve them. Use the base of a wine glass to gently flatten the fig halves on a serving plate.

Cut the feta cheese into thin, rectangular slices and place them on top of the flattened figs.

Scatter fresh basil leaves over the feta.

Drizzle with basil oil, balsamic glaze, and extra virgin olive oil.

Peel a thin slice of prosciutto and drape it over the plate.

Serve immediately, optionally cutting into bite-sized pieces.
