Parmesan sesame cheese crisps
Thin, crispy baked parmesan rounds topped with toasted sesame seeds — the perfect quick snack to enjoy with a glass of wine.
What goes in
- 150 g Parmigiano Reggiano, finely grated
- 2 tsp black roasted sesame seeds
How to do it
- 01
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 02
Place a metal ring mold (about 8–10 cm diameter) on the baking sheet and grate the Parmigiano Reggiano finely into the ring, filling it to form an even circle. Lift the mold away carefully.
- 03
Sprinkle the black roasted sesame seeds evenly over the grated cheese circles.
- 04
Bake for about 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted, spread, and turned golden and crispy.
- 05
Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Use a cheese slicer or spatula to lift the crisps from the parchment.
- 06
Serve the warm cheese crisps on the rim of a glass of red wine, or enjoy on their own.
