Amsterdam-style sausage roll with burrata and spinach
A hearty Amsterdam-style sausage roll featuring juicy garlic and parsley sausages from Brandt & Levie, creamy burrata, and fresh local spinach, all served on a toasted baguette.
What goes in
- 2 sausages (Brandt & Levie garlic and parsley variety)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 baguette
- 1 package burrata cheese
- Fresh local spinach
- Oil for frying
How to do it
- 01
Heat oil in a skillet and place the raw sausages in to cook.

Flip the sausages with tongs as they brown.

Crush garlic cloves with your palm on a countertop.

Add the crushed garlic to the skillet with the sausages.

Slice a piece of baguette in half lengthwise.

Remove the sausages from the skillet and place the bread halves cut-side down into the hot oil.

Press down on the bread halves to toast them in the sausage fat.

Cut open a package of burrata and pour it onto a cutting board.

Add fresh spinach leaves to the skillet to sauté with the garlic.

Spread the burrata onto the toasted baguette halves.

Top the burrata with the sautéed spinach.

Place a cooked sausage on top of each prepared baguette half.

Cut the assembled sandwich in half and serve.
