Gochujang pork belly lettuce wraps
Caramelized gochujang-marinated pork belly served in fresh romaine lettuce leaves with red onion rings — a quick, flavorful wrap.
What goes in
- pork belly slices
- 1 teaspoon gochujang
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- juice of half a lemon
- hand-crushed garlic
- black pepper
- cooking oil (for frying)
- romaine lettuce leaves
- red onion, sliced into rings
How to do it

Marinate the pork belly slices for about 30 minutes in gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, lemon juice, hand-crushed garlic, and black pepper.

Heat a frying pan over high heat and drizzle in cooking oil.

Fry the marinated pork belly for around 10 minutes, tossing and flipping, until beautifully caramelized. Squeeze in fresh lemon juice and add crushed garlic while cooking.

Lay romaine lettuce leaves on a plate and top with the caramelized pork belly slices.

Scatter red onion rings over the pork belly.
