White Beans with Anchovy-Garlic Sauce
White beans quickly warmed in a pan with a flavorful sauce of anchovies, garlic, lemon, thyme, and red wine vinegar. Ready in 5 minutes, served warm or cold.

- White beans (canned or jarred)
- Red onion
- Garlic bulb
- 6 anchovies
- Fresh thyme
- Lemon
- Red wine vinegar
- Olive oil

Pour white beans with some liquid and oil into a pan.

Slice red onion and add to the pan.

Crush a whole garlic bulb with your palm, then roughly chop and mince the garlic.

Mince 6 anchovies together with the garlic.

Cut fresh thyme with scissors and add to the garlic-anchovy mixture, then mince together.

Pour olive oil over the minced mixture on the cutting board.

Cut a lemon in half and squeeze juice directly onto the mixture.

Finely mince everything together to combine.

Add the minced mixture to the pan with white beans and red onion.

Stir everything together and warm through for up to 5 minutes.

Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with red wine vinegar.

Stir with a fork and serve warm or cold.
