Wild Mussels with Lemon, Anchovy, and Garlic

Simple yet incredibly flavorful wild mussels cooked with lemon, anchovy, garlic, and fresh rosemary over an open flame.

Hoe doe je het

    Heat olive oil in a pan over a grill or flame.

    Smash garlic cloves and add to the oil.

  3. 03

    Add one anchovy to the pan.

  4. 04

    Throw in a whole lemon and slices of another lemon.

  5. 05

    Add the mussels to the pan and shake to coat.

  6. 06

    Cover the pan with a wooden board and cook until mussels open.

  7. 07

    Add fresh rosemary from the garden, cover again briefly.

  8. 08

    Pour cooked mussels onto a plate and spoon some cooking liquid over them.
