Charred Pepper and Tuna Sandwich
A smoky, umami-packed sandwich with charred red bell pepper, tuna, capers, olives, garlic, and anchovies on toast.

- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 can tuna
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 1/4 cup green olives, pitted
- 1 clove garlic
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- 2 slices toasted bread
- 4 anchovy fillets

Char the red bell pepper over a flame or in a wood-burning stove until skin is blackened and blistered.

Remove the pepper, let cool slightly, then peel off the charred skin. Slice into strips.

Grate the garlic clove into the bowl and add salt to taste. Stir to combine.
