Creamy Mushroom Pasta

A rich and creamy mushroom pasta made with three kinds of mushrooms, shallots, garlic, tomatoes, red wine, cream, and pecorino, all organic and naturally delicious.

  • 2 shallots, finely sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1–2 tomatoes, chopped
  • Splash of red wine
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • Fresh thyme & parsley
  • A knob of real butter
  • Cream
  • Pasta of choice
  • Pecorino to finish
  • Salt & black pepper

Hoe doe je het

    Throw mushrooms, shallots, garlic, tomatoes, thyme, parsley, and butter all in a pan. Cook until soft and golden.

    Add a splash of red wine and let it reduce.

  3. 03

    Add cream and lemon juice. Simmer gently.

  4. 04

    Blend everything into a smooth, creamy mushroom sauce.

  5. 05

    Meanwhile, cook pasta al dente.

  6. 06

    In a separate pan, sauté a few whole mushrooms until golden for topping.

  7. 07

    Toss the pasta with the sauce.

    Finish with grated Pecorino and top with the sautéed mushrooms and fresh parsley.

How to make it:

Meanwhile, cook your pasta al dente.

In a separate pan, hit a few whole mushrooms with some heat; your show-off toppings.

Toss the pasta with the sauce.

Finish with Pecorino. Boom.
