Organic Chicken Shawarma Sandwich
A homemade chicken shawarma sandwich with tender marinated chicken thighs, fresh herbs, and a creamy garlic sauce, served in warm pita bread.

Add ground coriander, cumin, turmeric, paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon, black pepper, sea salt, chili flakes, Greek yogurt, karumba spices, fresh garlic, and chopped red onions. Mix well.

Add fresh parsley and mix into the marinade.

Heat a pan over a gas stove, add oil and butter.

Add the marinated chicken mixture to the pan and cook, spreading it out with a spatula.

Add sliced red onion and minced garlic to the cooking chicken and mix together.

Warm pita bread in an oven.

Prepare the sauce: mix Greek yogurt, garlic powder, minced fresh garlic, and chopped chives in a bowl.

Open the warm pita bread, add lettuce, then the cream cheese mixture (or sauce), then the cooked chicken mixture, and top with fresh arugula.
