Organic Affogato with Vegan Ice Cream

A simple yet elegant dessert: vanilla ice cream drowned in a hot shot of coffee. This vegan version uses rice milk and coconut oil for a creamy texture.

    Scoop vegan ice cream around the inverted cup, filling the glass and pressing gently to create an indentation at the base of the cup.

Organic Affogato with Vegan Ice Cream....

This dessert is so simple, yet so delicious and original! It’s just vanilla ice cream with a hot shot of coffee poured over it, but it makes an unforgettable treat for your guests. 

Inspired by the TikTok coffee trend, I thought I'd create my own version. While I may not be an ice cream artist, this is my fun take on the viral hit. The vegan ice cream is made from rice milk and coconut oil, adding a creamy texture without any dairy.

Anyone with a bit of creativity can make this dessert look amazing (perfect as a dessert after a long lunch!). But hey, if you're not feeling artsy (LOL), just pour hot coffee over a scoop of ice cream in a bowl.

Did you know? The name "Affogato" means "drowned" in Italian, describing how the ice cream is 'drowned' in coffee. Well, now you know! 😉
