grillfirecooking
  1. 01

Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, combine turmeric, curry powder, paella spice, red powder, and crushed black peppercorns.

  2. 02

Slice the chicken breasts thinly and place in a metal mixing bowl.

  3. 03

Peel and slice the onion into rings, mince the garlic, and add to the chicken.

  4. 04

Add Greek yogurt and the spice mixture to the chicken. Mix thoroughly by hand until chicken is coated in yellow marinade.

  5. 05

Let marinate for a couple of hours (or less if in a hurry).

  6. 06

Prepare a fire in a stone barbecue using dry branches.

  7. 07

Place the marinated chicken pieces into a grilling basket.

  8. 08

Grill the chicken over the fire until cooked through, with grill marks and a slightly darker yellow hue.

  9. 09

Remove chicken from the basket and arrange on a wooden serving board. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.

Onderderookvanamsterdam X Mula, Spain. Fired up something new in beautiful Mula: Yellow organic chicken! Well, I made it yellow with a blend of spices—turmeric, curry powder, and that powder you toss into paella (name slipped my mind! 😉).

Note: Don’t mind the fly that landed on the raw chicken; it's all part of cooking in nature! 🪰 Added some organic onions, Greek yogurt (yes, in Spain!), and of course, garlic. Let it marinate for a couple of hours (or less, if you're in a hurry), and you'll have the most delicious chicken you've ever tasted! 🔥🍗🌿🧄
